At the end of February 2008, Rich Kraybill will be taking over for me as the Troop 32 web master. Since he will not be able to make every event, please keep burning those picture discs, and he will get them uploaded. Many grandparents and former Troop 32 members visit the site regularly to keep up with the Scouts activities. I still think this is a great way for a T32 scout to promote his Eagle project, and one that more of our Scouts should utilize. Most importantly, have fun during your time with Troop 32. If you are having fun, making Eagle will be no problem.

Regards,

Marty Ward

In an effort to provide more timely information and less chance of conflicting information the Troop 32 calendar will now be available direct from the Scoutmaster. The calendar page at the top will take you directly to the calendar. The downloadable .PDF version will still be available from this site, although at times it may not be as current as the link above.

Recently posted pictures from the Kankakee shooting trip.

If you missed the Boundary Waters trip this year, check out the photos and start planning for next year's trip.

New for this year, we have instituted Scout Accounts at Troop 32, and a document providing the details is available from Joe Carroll, our Treasurer. Also, annual dues are payable at this time. Please be prompt with your check so that we can get this out of the way and get on with the program. If you are not sure how much you owe, see Joe.

If you are a new Troop 32 parent, or your family is considering joining Troop 32, please check out our New Parent guide.

Check out the pictures from the Wilderness Survival campout. Who needs tents?!

I know that many of our scouts are currently working on Eagle projects. If you would like to post information or pictures about your project, contact Mr. Ward. I know from my son Steve's experience, that the people donating material or funds to your project really enjoy seeing the projects they are supporting.

I have had this note posted here for a while. Surely one of you scouts working on an Eagle project would like to post something????!!  You can even use your efforts to fulfill part of the Communication MB requirements.

If you are an adult coordinator for one of the Troop campouts, please check the new Campout Coordinator Checklist, a handy guide to make sure all the bases are covered.

Arnie Esquivel, our Committee Chair would like to get everyone signed on to the Troop  32 group at Yahoo. The plan is for this group to become the troop's de facto email list. The ads that accompany each email are mildly annoying, but so far there is no spam. One thing to bear in mind is that a message or reply to one person in the group is sent to all members of the group, so be polite! If you can't wait any longer to sign up, just click here for the details. Like all good scouting resources this is a FREE service.

Thank you.
